Printed pH Sensors for Textile‐Based Wearables: A Conceptual and Experimental Study on Materials, Deposition Technology, and Sensing Principles

In this article, organic and polymeric materials, printing technology, sensing principles are investigated toward a reliable printed wearable pH sensor realized on textiles. A literature study experimental work of three different material-based sensors their corresponding measurement methods systematically made. Initially, the sensors, conductometric PEDOT:PSS sensor, voltametric carbon-alizarin potentiometric graphene/polyaniline (PANI) selected based specific established criteria reproduced foils for feasibility study. Mass production fabrication textile substrates also objectives work, lead to deployment coating techniques fabrication. These flexible tested verified performances. Based results study, conclusive comparison between regarding device fabrication, functionality, wearability is performed. As per analysis, PANI substrate buffer solution ranging from 4 9.5. The shows sensitivity 45 mV pH−1 with linear responses repeatable characteristics.
